Holiday Treats

This is just a reminder that the Smyrna Library has two relatively new services that will make the holidays easier.

First, we now provide free access to Indieflix to our cardholders.  Indieflix has thousands of award-winning, independently produced films that you can download to your computer, tablet, or smartphone.  There's something for everyone and it's a great way to take a few minutes break or watch something completely different.

Second, the library e-book collection has grown to over 500 titles.  With Axis 360 you can download the app you need in a couple of minutes and start reading immediately.  There are no fines and you don't have to come to the Library.  You'll never return a book late again.

Take a little time to relax.

Ann Hite - Author of "Ghost on Black Mountain"

Townsend Prize nominated author and Smyrna resident, Ann Hite, will discuss her novel "Ghost on Black Mountain" in the Library Thursday January 12 at 7:00 p.m.  Ms. Hite has just returned from a book tour and "Ghost on Black Mountain" has received rave reviews nationwide.
