Black History Month

February is Black History Month and the Library added a database that will make doing those school papers a little easier. There's free access to activities, lesson plans, quizzes and articles including Contemporary Black Biography, the Harlem Renaissance and Opposing Viewpoints.

All you have to do is click on the "Databases" link on the Library catalog. Then click on the Black History Month picture. You'll be off and running.

Be sure to attend the Family Story Program tomorrow night. Storyteller, Chetter Galloway will be presenting stories and music from Africa and by African Americans. It's a great way to celebrate Black History Month and is sure to be fun for everyone!
